Our Christmas Ornaments in the Atrium of the Federal Chancellery

Glass Christmas ornaments from Lauscha, handcrafted in the glassblowing workshop of
Greiner-Mai GmbH – DER CHRISTBAUM in Neuhaus am Rennweg, adorned the 7-meter-high blue spruce tree in the atrium of the German Federal Chancellery in 2008, near the office of Angela Merkel. The ornament collection was called "Thuringian Winter Fairy Tale" and included glass baubles, bells, olives, glass birds, and a tree topper in the national colors. Decorated in red with delicate white ivy patterns and frosted white with red candle motifs, each piece was intricately hand-painted by our artisans.
